HYBRID TOYOSILICONE HOSE (for heat resistance and food)
Made of silicone rubber and able to handle both pressure and vacuum feeds, and high pressures, HYBRID TOYOSILICONE Hoses take advantage of the excellent characteristics of silicone such as heat resistance up to 130°C, low leaching, insulation, and no odor. It can be used in equipment for the food and beverage industry, semiconductor industry, industrial furnace industry and more.
With a general braid type hose, if the location of piping is too narrow the hose may bend or collapse.
Metal coil reinforced type hoses present a variety of issues, such as piping in narrow areas may be difficult due to resistance of the hose, or the metal coil may rust.HYBRID TOYOSILICONE Hose's soft, durable, and compact piping can be used for pressure feed and suction, adopts reinforced materials that do not rust, and helps improve safety, productivity and workability.
In addition to hoses, various dedicated couplings are available for higher safety and productivity.

(1) Under no circumstances should these hoses be used for nonpolar organic solvents (such as benzene, toluene and hexane), halogenated hydrocarbons (such as methylene chloride or trichloroethane), concentrated strong acids, strong bases, mineral oil or steam. Also, do not use for animal or vegetable oil at temperatures exceeding 70℃. For steam cleaning, apply steam only for a short period, with a saturated steam pressure of less than 0.2 MPa at 130°C.
(2) Do not use for high temperature water at exceeding 100℃. Due to weakened reinforcement (thread), this can cause hose punctures and secondary damage such as injury and burns.
(3) Note that silicone rubber has high gas permeability.Use caution when using this product with gases.Be sure to check “Precautions for Using Our Products Safely” before choosing a product.

For barb fittings, use a nipple diameter 5% to 15% larger than the inner diameter of the hose (depending on the hose inner diameter).
